Established in 1947 originally in Warren Street in the Welsh holiday resort of Tenby, Dales Music Store started off as a piano retailer run by the Dale family and has now been trading for more than 70 years. As a teenager, Laurie Dale was always spending his pocket money on 78rpm records, so he persuaded his father to start stocking them in the shop to complement the piano sales.

The store relocated to its current High Street premises in the 1950s and the place of Dales Music in Tenby history was secured.

It was Laurie’s eye to the sharp end of his industry which contributed to the success of the shop and ensured that generations of Tenby residents were and are counted as customers to this day.

In the 21st Century Dales has continued to go from strength to strength and still stocks a large range of Vinyl Records as well as a huge selection of other Musical Equipment and Merchandise.
